Ishuzoku Reviewers was hands down the supreme ruler of ecchi content in the year of 2020, miles ahead of its competition in terms of how far it took the lewd factor, even if it was largely for a laugh! In fact, it was so successful that it stirred controversy among the virgin social justice types, who ended up getting it removed from Funimation and other streaming platforms. Well, thanks to blu-rays, we can enjoy it in its fully uncensored glory!
Personally, I found it too over the top to be sexy most of the time, especially because monster girls are far from my thing, but there were moments that definitely appealed!
Premise:
Countless diverse races, from perky fairies to oozing slimes, inhabit the world. Naturally, such a melting pot of creatures has a broad and alluring variety of brothels. With so many options to choose from, it is hard to decide with which succu-girl to have a meaningful, interpersonal experience.
Fortunately, a tight group of brave warriors has come together to enlighten the public. These perverted adventurers take it upon themselves to assess the appeal of all types of succu-girls through hands-on research. Whether it be the scorchingly hot salamanders or the udderly hu-moo-ngous cow-girls, the Yoruno Gloss reviewers leave no species behind.
Directed by the mastermind behind Miru Tights, Ishuzoku Reviewers seeks to answer one of the most pressing questions there is: which species is the sexiest?
Starts off by setting the scene in the red light district!
Daphne in the Brilliant Blue is an original TV anime which is one of many anime to come out in the early 00’s and late 90s’ in the ‘fighting girls’ genre. This genre usually revolves around a group of girls in a special police force other combat unit who wear tight-fitting and revealing outfits in the line of duty! It’s promotional imagery exudes T&A and the anime makes sure to give people the eye candy they want!
Premise:
In the future, water has covered much of the Earth due to the effects of global warming, leaving the human race to live on neighboring floating cities. The orphaned Maia Mizuki, fifteen years of age, just graduated from middle school and has already applied for employment in the elite Ocean Agency, part of the futuristic world government. Only the best, most intelligent, and physically fit students are eligible for admission. Maia, the series’ protagonist, is set to become one of the few.
But her ideal life quickly falls apart. To her disappointment, Maia unexpectedly fails her entrance exams despite her high grades. Making matters worse, she promptly gets evicted from her house, pick pocketed, taken hostage, then shot. She is “saved” by two females (Rena and Shizuka) that are part of an unorthodox help-for-hire organization called Nereids (inspired by the Greek mythological Nereids). With nowhere to go, Maia joins up with Nereids, taking jobs from capturing wanted criminals to chasing stray cats, often with unexpected results. Gloria and Yu later join up with Nereids.
It’s careful not to wade all the way into smut territory however, proving fairly restrained with its fanservice. Since the show has a lot of the same service, I haven’t gone for a full blow-by-blow breakdown of the show. Instead, feat your eyes on some of the highlights and that should give a good idea of what the show’s about!
This is a great shower shot, hot body and little steam!

Burn Up Scramble was the last entry in the Burn Up! franchise, a 12 episode series releases in 2004 with a different look at feel to the previous entries. Burn Up Scramble is emblematic of the female battle team genre of anime that was still booming at the start of 2004, using its working women and action settings to service fans with busty girls in mini-skirts, skimpy outfits, change rooms and panty shots. Suits me just fine!
Premise:
Set in AD. 2023, Tokyo the government is concerned about the increase in major criminal organizations, terrorists and other threats to the security of society. This leads to the formation of special extralegal police team from within the Metro Police Section 8 Branch called Warrior. Under their Commander, the team combines the talents of martial arts expert Rio Kinezono and skilled marksman and gun expert Maya Jingu. They are joined later by the shy Lilica Evette who uses her psychic powers to assist them in their crime-solving adventures. Later, the Police Council create obedient New Warriors to replace the original Warriors. These New Warriors are genetically modified humans with superhuman strength gained via drugs and based on data obtained from monitoring Rio and Maya’s missions.
The promotional art for the series was always sure to demonstrate the sex appeal of its heroines!
Naked apron, that’s one way to get your viewer’s attention!
The bathing scenes are well done, using the opportunity for great eye candy, even sneaking in some nipple glimpses!

There’s plenty of shots of Rio in various states of undress, and one particularly good moment where she’s topless and her nipples are fully exposed.
One massive charm point in Rio’s favor is her tendency to wear cute bear panties, and they’re frequently visible. How cute!
Panty-shots are once of the show’s strengths , with lots of styles to be seen and some generous camera angles to help get that glimpse!
There’s some moments where it shows a kinky streak to it, with references to bondage and candle play.
But there’s no doubt what most fans are here for, these hot bodies!
Time to put another week behind us, sit back and look at some of the recent highs, lows and lewds in the world of anime, manga and all things weeaboo.
Sorry this post is a little bit late – I was away on a bit of a mini holiday! But it should be worth the wait because last week turned out to probably be the best of the year yet! TV anime came to the table, with a stellar entry from Reviewers and even other series chipping in for an all-round great 7-days of sexiness. Manga and light novels also gave us some wholesome content to lust over.
In terms of this blog, I have finally finished cataloging the fanservice from 2018 and almost have a year-in-review post for that ready to go! But instead of working backwards I thought I’d go right back and start investigating the vintage naughtiness from anime in the 70s! So far I’ve done Fushigi na Melmo and Majokko Meg-chan.
In other news, I see someone has started to bring back a backup of the fanservice archive website that closed down last year! That’s great news for ecchi fans – there’s some great history in those image archives!
