One of the leading out-and-out ecchi TV anime, Girls Bravo certainly set a precedent, a harem anime less focused on the gently love stories of most visual novel adaptations and more on getting the girls naked and teased sexually. With less plot to get in the way it raised the bar for fanservice!
Yukinari Sasaki is an average high school student who is frequently ridiculed by girls to the point that he developed an allergic reaction to them. As a result, he breaks out in hives whenever he comes into contact with a female. One day, when he returns home from school, he is kicked into his bathtub by his neighbor Kirie Kojima, but is transported to Seiren (セーレン, Sēren, “Siren” in the Tokyopop manga translation), a mysterious world with a mostly female population. He befriends Miharu Sena Kanaka, who ends up following him to Earth. Other Seiren girls with various motives soon visit and join the household. They are taken on many adventures as Miharu discovers the wonders of Earth.

As with all its shows, Cosprayes is doused in fanservice and is lolicon-friendly, with ecchi covering the fill spectrum! Being a heroine story, there’s opportunity for some spicier service when the girls are captured!

The next volume will see the end of the story for this revenge-rape epic! The manga for this is truly nuts and I can’t wait for the shitstorm the anime will cause.
I’m a huge OreImo fan but lean towards Kirino, so the recent Ayase IF novel (giving an Ayase happy end) didn’t appeal to me much. However I have a soft spot for both Kanako and Kuroneko so now I’m interested!
Once a hot springs inn, now a boarding house with extraordinarily cheap rent, Yuragi-sou is virtually uninhabited save for a few peculiar residents. As rumor has it, it is haunted by a vile ghost which scares away all potential tenants. Therefore, it is the perfect refuge for Fuyuzora Kogarashi—a broke, homeless psychic seeking an affordable roof to stay under and ghosts to exorcise.
Kogarashi prepares for a face-off against the ghost, only to find out it is not as malicious as the rumors made it out to be. Instead, it is the ghost of a beautiful, silver-haired girl whose only recollection of her life before death is her name: Yuuna. Even more baffling is that the other tenants of Yuragi-sou not only are able to see Yuuna as well, but each has their own supernatural ability.
Amidst the chaos caused by his quirky fellow residents, Kogarashi attempts to uncover the regret that keeps Yuuna anchored to the world of the living, lest she become an evil spirit sentenced to spend her afterlife in hell.
The second season of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu continues our table of the beautiful, troubled otaku girl, Haruka and her budding romance with typical MC, Yuuto.
The story centers around Yuuto Ayase and his classmate Haruka Nogizaka. While Yuuto is rather ordinary, Haruka is very attractive, intelligent and rich. Due to this, she is the school’s most unattainable girl and is so idolized that her classmates give her the French nicknames “Nuit Étoile” (The Silver Star of the Night) and “Lumière du Clavier” (The Shining Princess on the Piano). One day, when Yuuto goes to the school library to return a book, he stumbles across Haruka and her darkest secret—she is a diehard fan of anime, manga and the otaku culture. Yuuto promises to keep her secret hidden and the two become close friends. Yuuto does his best to help Haruka with her secret hobby while developing his relationship with her.
This season has a lot more fanservice and spreads its focus on a whole lot of side characters to add to this, including some cute new lolis.

The animation is fairly lacklustre but what it lacks in frames it makes up for in art and character design quality – the girls look quite beautiful, probably even better than the light novel originals.

Back in 2008 I was only really four years in to being an anime fan and I was already deep into the otaku culture side of things, so this series resonated with me a bit. More importantly, it was a great example of the moe craze back then, with adorable girls you couldn’t help but want to protect and light fanservice to elicit their sexy appeal.
The series also had unusually good art and animation quality so there’s plenty of eye candy to admire.
Some of our first introductions to the titular Nogizaka Haruki come in the form of her falling over and giving us a nice glimpse of her panties.
This seems to be a trend for this show as the rival love interest, Shiina is also treated to the same scenario!
