Gu-Gu Ganmo is a 1984 anime adaptation of a shounen manga published in Weekly Sounen Sunday. Fairly typical of the 80s, it’s a light-hearted gag comedy, featuring many elements from silly antics, to young love interests and even a little bit of fanservice! Admittedly, the fanservice is very innocent, used for laughs rather than played up for sexiness. On the plus side, it’s surprisingly liberal with nudity for a shounen series!
One other big plus for this show is that the designs and animation quality were really great – the girls are super sweet!
The series follows in the footsteps of manga such as Doraemon and Obake no Q-Taro in that the alien Ganmo (who resembles a chicken wearing sneakers) sets out to help his adopted human friend Hanpeita. The series follows the antics of the duo as they find themselves in the middle of much comedic mischief.
The first fanservice comes from the teacher, who kept ending up with he pants pulled down, to reveal the white goodness beneath!
On closer inspection she’s actually wearing panties with a print of a koala on them, how embarassing!

One of the leading out-and-out ecchi TV anime, Girls Bravo certainly set a precedent, a harem anime less focused on the gently love stories of most visual novel adaptations and more on getting the girls naked and teased sexually. With less plot to get in the way it raised the bar for fanservice!
Yukinari Sasaki is an average high school student who is frequently ridiculed by girls to the point that he developed an allergic reaction to them. As a result, he breaks out in hives whenever he comes into contact with a female. One day, when he returns home from school, he is kicked into his bathtub by his neighbor Kirie Kojima, but is transported to Seiren (セーレン, Sēren, “Siren” in the Tokyopop manga translation), a mysterious world with a mostly female population. He befriends Miharu Sena Kanaka, who ends up following him to Earth. Other Seiren girls with various motives soon visit and join the household. They are taken on many adventures as Miharu discovers the wonders of Earth.

Smash Hit, aka Top wo Nerae is one of those classic ecchi anime from illustrious producers Masters of Entertainment (M.O.E). Along with Cosprayers and Love Love, it’s an alternate setting of the same basic story:
A film production company works on a new ‘hero’ movie, starring a group of sexy heroines. Cosprayers is the final product, Love Love follows the main cast behind the scenes, and this series follows the production crew – in particular the cute and childish producer Mitsuki Ikuta.
These three series were a shining beacon of fanservice excellence in 2004, and this one on particular has an edge in its cute female lead and her loli-ish appeal. Her petite figure and habit of wearing childish underwear makes her great lolicon bait!

I stumbled across this manga by seeing an amazingly lewd bathing scene in a chapter of a monthly manga publication – Dragon Age. Now, bathing scene are a dime a dozen in manga, so normally it wouldn’t be enough to pique my interest, but the girls were so cute and so erotically drawn that I knew this manga was special! So I tracked it down and turned out there were 13 chapters already translated.
I rarely marathon manga, but for this one I read it all in one go, and skimmed through the raws of all released tankobons. This manga is pretty much made for me, featuring:
Solid plot with likeable characters and a story

It ticks most of my boxes, which is why I’m going to be voting for it to be licensed in Seven Seas monthly licensing poll! I’m also hoping to see an anime adaptation one day! Anyway, here’s a brief introduction, mainlt focusing on the sexy elements!
Premise:
“Alcafus” is the story of Tasuku—the protagonist—who one day as a child meets a mysterious girl with animal ears and tail. Finding her collapsed at the shrine, Tasuku presents her some candy and looks after her. 10 Years later, hearing her voice calling for him he returns to the shrine, and strays into a mysterious world.
The prelude chapter depicts a mysterious childhood memory where a young boy stumbles upon naked young dog-girl, clothed only in loose bandages. I’m not gonna lie, this is some A-grade loli!
Thankfully they revisit this loli goddess in several flashbacks. I’m already craving more!
The boy, now a teenager is isekai’d to a strange world filled with magic, monsters, and, most importantly, beautiful slave warrior dog-girls (called Cafus). In this world, there’s a whole species who live to serve humans as slaves and fighters. I’m not sure how it works, but they all seem to be stunning beauties, scantily dressed and are 100% female. I’m not complaining!
Of course, the main character ends up with one- a super-cute twintailed girl! Her starting clothes and pet collar are seriously hot! Check out the stunning, Marika!
Being the respectable character that he is, he makes sure she gets some “proper” clothing, which turns out to be just as sexy! Moreover, you can see he adds some more girls to his pet harem!
Unfortunately some owners aren’t so respectable..
But on to some more reasons to love this manga:
The action is both badass and sexy at the same time!
Meanwhile the obligatory fanservice scenes are 100% HOT. It seems that the Cafus are like pets in multiple ways, including needing to be washed. MC quickly discovers the joys of stripping and cleaning such a sexy companion.
The stunning art, the perfect bodies, and the lewd poses, all combines to make some truly remarkable bathing sequences – the author truly has a gift for it!
This is too damn hot!

As I touched on before, the Cafus come in all shapes and sizes but are universally stunning with dynamite bodies.
Just to up the lewd ante, you’ve gotta remember, dog girls can go into heat! It’s actually as easy as removing their hand restraints and they become aggressively horny – both a blessing and a curse!

There’s also a cute long-haired blonde loli called Leoni, who is definitely older than she looks!

Ghost Talker’s Daydream (or known as Vulgar Ghost Daydreamin Japan) is a 10-volume shounen manga with a unique blend of S&M and supernatural horrror. The manga was adapted into a 4-episode OVA series back in 2004. It’s one of those anime gathering dust on the proverbial shelf, little remembered by the anime fandom. But it still holds its own in terms of sexiness and animation quality!
Premise:
Ghost Talker’s Daydream is a horror anime created by Saki Okuse and Sankichi Meguro. It tells the story of Misaki Saiki, a young woman with a troubled past, who is a professional dominatrix in one of Tokyo’s most exclusive S&M clubs. However, her real money is something she likes even less than being a dominatrix. Ever since childhood, Misaki has had the ability to see and communicate with ghosts, and that talent is put to use by the Livelihood Protection Agency, who pairs Misaki with Souichiro Kadotake, a martial artist who happens to be deathly afraid of ghosts. Using her gifts, Misaki is able to help troubled departed spirits resolve what is troubling them and allow them to move on to the afterlife. If all THAT isn’t odd enough, Misaki is an albino AND a virgin.
So the leading lady is a dominatrix and on top of that, the stories featured often involve some kind of violent or twisted sexuality. This means most of the promotional material puts her in sexy BDSM outfits and/or bondage!
The anime itself is a little lighter on the bondage, but generous on the boobage!
It opens with some lovely nudity right off the bat, showing off Misaki’s great boobs!
She soon winds up exposed in public wearing somewhat kinky lingerie!
Things get dark when a villain appears and assaults an innocent school girl 🙁
Fortunately, dominatrix heroin comes to the rescue!

Although there were no OVAs to enjoy, there was still some nice fanservice to appreciate in the TV lineup, and a slew of new light novel releases with sexy illustrations!

So concludes another week of working from home, but it sure beats wheezing from hospital I guess! The coronavirus is really starting to flex in the otaku arena now – last week we had the cancellation of comiket and more and more anime are getting delayed. It looks like even NEET shut-ins will find themselves affected by this crisis after all!
I’ve been passing a lot of time with a new video game (no, not Animal Crossing!) – Persona 5 Royal. I am really hooked on the cute, sexy characters, and stylish gameplay. But I have also been working on a mega blog post – a complete, uncensored history of anime fanservice! I’ve been digging deep through my collection and researching to put together a picture of how fanservice and ecchi evolved, so look forward to that!
Anyway, onto this week, which, honestly, turned out a lot better than I expected with the release of a new Strike the Blood OVA, the return of Shokugeki no Souma, and Gleipnir kicking some sexy goals. The only disappointment was a surprisingly tame first episode of Tsugumomo S2..
But in other good news, How Not to Summon a Demon Lord is getting a season 2! I am a big fan of the light novels so I can tell you that there’s some ridiculously fun and raunchy stuff in store for the next season!

Strike the Blood released two OVA episodes which game us some of the usual high-quality bathing and nipples!
I’ve finally found the time to screenshot and upload this review of one of the sexiest anime OVAs in recent memory! The Tsugumomo manga is one of the most popular long-running ecchi manga currently in circulation, and it’s certainly the flag-bearer for giving lots of uncensored loli ecchi!
