I found this pretty obscure 1991 echi OVA. It’s a bit strange and not that good, so I’m not surprised it’s obscure, however, in the spirit of these ‘soft porn’ style of OVAs, it does have some nicely drawn and well-animated boobs at least!
Probably the best scene is from the first episode, with a nice sexual encounter featuring some gorgeous tits.

A 90s OVA take on Go Nagai manga Abashiri Ikka! In classic Nagai fashion, there’s plenty of humour and innocent cute girls intermixed with a kinky and violent kind of eroticism – a potent mix indeed!

The series deals with the adventures of the Abashiri family, a clan of criminals who are feared by the police and other criminals alike, as they are a destructive force to be reckoned with. Although they are virtually unstoppable, they do not have great desires and many of their plans are normally minor and sometimes get undone by their own foolishness. That is unless they are attacked, at which point they will retaliate with full force, normally with deadly consequences for their enemies.
As the series progress the tone of the series becomes less crime-focused and becomes more a gag comedy with strong touches of eroticism. The series was originally conceived by Nagai as a form of protest and parody of the controversy that arose with Harenchi Gakuen. While having a grim tone at the beginning, the series lightens up as it progresses, although the graphic violence remains through most of it but becoming less frequent.
The series remained popular in its original run until Nagai decided to drop it along with other series that he was doing at the time in order to concentrate on the Devilman manga. Years later, a single one-shot story was published and has since been included in all new tankōbon series. A special crossover one-shot with Cutie Honey was also published in 2009, in commemoration of the 40 years anniversary of the magazine Shōnen Champion, where both series debuted in manga
The anime isn’t very explicit but does put its heroines and damsels through the ringer!
In the first battle, the heroine takes clothes damage, much to her embarassment
But when she’s caught, the villain threatens a lot worse!

The long-awaited bonus OVA episode of Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san is out and I have to say it looks amazing!! I was expecting a mini-episode or something, but it’s full blown and packed with great ecchi content. It makes me thirst for more Yuuna though, hopefully they’ll do more OVAs. If not, the staff from this series needs to do more ecchi adaptations!
The first half of the episode is dedicated to one of my favourite things: panties! It’s a veritable panty festivals as we get through the entire cast of girls flashing their underwear to give us a good gander!
Panties under stockings! The detail on the close up is amazing, the slight transparency, even the faintest of cameltoe to be seen!
Some more options! The lioncloth (fundoshi) is always a spicy selection!
First-year student Mayumi Takahashi attends a junior high school called Sparta Academy (スパルタ学園, Suparuta Gakuen), where the penalty for any student (usually girls) making the slightest mistake is being sexually humiliated by the perverted, corrupt and misogynistic teachers running the school, the principal being a demonic, jester-like villain named “Toenail of Satan”. However, before the teachers can take their sexual advances too far, Kekko Kamen steps in and delivers a sound beating to the teachers, and usually performs a finishing attack by jumping into the air and landing crotch-first onto her opponent’s face.
Straight into the slightly surreal S&M Nazi play with a cute schoolgirl chained up and whipped by the punk-supremacist villain of the piece!

Until finally her bra is torn away to reveal a gorgeous pair of breasts! Straight away you can see we’re in for some good boob animation, with the shapely titties well adapted from Go Nagai’s manga!
Kekkou Kamen whisks away the young damsel, showing off her own boobs in the process!
Exper Zenon is a little known one-shot OVA from 1991. Not based on any manga or game, it’s an original sci-fi comedy story featuring a beautiful (and naked!) girl showing up out of the blue and dragging the highschool male MC into outlandish events.
Premise:
Hiroshi Zenno, a gaming genius, finds his world turned upside down when he accepts an anonymous invitation to join a new 3D virtual game “Expers”. A girl materializes into his classroom and gives him an “Exper Suit”, granting him superhuman abilities. Forced into a real life death-match with 99 other players, Hiroshi, now as Exper Zenon, battles to find out who or what is behind the killing game.
I can see why this is a little more obscure since it doesn’t exactly pack a punch in any way, story, production or style. That said, it’s certainly not bad to look at and the fact that the main girl is kind of cute and sans clothes for much of it definitely adds to the experience!

Megami Paradise is a 1995 OVA series which is about the goings on in a paradise populated by beautiful goddesses. Sounds alright to me! It’s based on PC game series from around the same time and, like the games, includes a healthy serving of light fanservice!
Premise:
Mama Megami, the mother goddess and ruler of paradise is retiring. Her successor appoints a young mage named Lilith to be one of her guardians. Lilith’s first assignment is to recruit two more worthy guardians for the new Mama Megami. Not an easy task, as Stashia, the first candidate on Lilith’s short list is not interested. Lilith didn’t even have a chance to ask the second person on the list, a warrior named Juliana due to a misunderstanding caused by Stashia’s little sister Rurubell. Rurubell wants to be a guardian, but Lilith turned her down due to her very young age and lack of experience. Meanwhile, Paradise is under attack by an evil goddess who wants to dominate it, and it’s up to Lilith, Stashia, Rurubell, and Juliana to thwart the attackers.
For a start, in paradise, the girls wear loose and revealing outfits! That’s a big tick!
The only nipple reveal came in episode one with a damaged clothing shot!
Sailor Victory is a 2-episode 1995 OVA which seemed to capitalising on the Sailor Moon induced highschool magical girl genre. Throw in some frenetic and polished 90s animation and you have yourself a good time!
Premise:
Five Female high school friends reunite as the secret crime-fighting organization known as Sailor Victory. Commanding 3 giant Ninja Robots, Gion, Momoyama and Sagano, they fight evil in the virtual-future city of Mikado. When a disgraced and disgruntled city official turns to the dark side, he joins forces with the evil and sinister Margarita.
Mainly an action comedy, it still found the time to give us some eye candy!

Ero highlight was the extensive transformations sequence which included gorgeous bare chests and some subtle nipples!
Fushigi no Kuni no Miyuki-chan is a really odd 90s OVA based on a short manga by the illustrious female manga team CLAMP. Showing that they were originally quite the perverted authors, it’s a kind of weirdly erotic take on Alice in Wonderland. More or less, a cute high-school girl gets sucked into another world and comes across a series if outlandish and mildly sexual situations!
The animation is high-energy and it’s a fun watch as well!
Premise:
Miyuki, a cute girl, is in over her head. When late for school, she is suddenly transported to another world (Alice In Wonderland style), except that all the inhabitants of the other world are female…and they all seem to be in love with Miyuki. And the world behind her mirror is even weirder.

Hon Ran, or Crimson Wolf is your classic B-grade gritty 90s OVA, featuring spontaneous nudity and sex and every opportunity! Being an OVA from this era, the drawing quality is great and has solid animation production qualities.
Premise:
The fate of the world rests in the ability of three untested warriors to defeat an unearthly army of darkness. Sorcery, martial arts and an unrequited love, spanning the centuries, explode in an epic battle at the gates of the forbidden city. Crimson Wolf is an unusual departure for the Anime genre – rooted in real world reference, it makes the fantasy all the more believeable.

Continue reading…Short two-episode OVA from 1994 based on a slightly ecchi RPG video game. It lives up to the 90s OVA standard, with pretty character designs and vibrant animation. Most importantly, it features some nice nudity and great titties!
Premise:
Anime based on Otaku no Seiza: in Another World, on the Turbo CD, and Otaku no Seiza: An Adventure in the Otaku Galaxy, for the NES, which were two Role-Playing games, published by M&M, released in Japan in 1991 and 1993.
