Time to put another week behind us, sit back and look at some of the recent highs, lows and lewds in the world of anime, manga and all things weeaboo.
Nice Ass Day
Japan celebrated Nice Ass Day this week on twitter. Nice asses are a great cause for celebration so I dug out some random asses from my screencaps folder that I think I damn fine!
Azur Lane #6
This week’s Azur Lane bought the wow factor with an unabashed public baths episode that ticks all the ecchi boxes. After all the heated battling of the last few episodes, the girls deserve a pit stop, that’s for sure! And as a chance to oogle their naked bodies, I’m certainly not going to complaint.
The only thing stopping this from being the bathing episode of the year is the nefarious beams of light which are out in full force to protect the on-screen innocence of all the cute girls. All I can say is, if these beams vanish in the Blu-rays, I’ll buy a million copies!

The story revolves around a new team of “Toei robot girls” named “Team Z” that is made up of three girls based on Toei’s Mazinger Z franchise: Mazinger Z, Great Mazinger, and UFO Robot Grendizer. Usually they perform in activities around Nerima ward in Tokyo to raise the awareness of the promising future energy source “Photon Power” (koushiryoku). However, there are times when “Mechanical Beast” team of girls emerge from the “Subterranean Empire” and attempt to steal the energy. Thus “Team Z” has to battle them to prevent this, though sometimes they just go and beat up the “bad girls” to relieve stress.

Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu II
The second season of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu continues our table of the beautiful, troubled otaku girl, Haruka and her budding romance with typical MC, Yuuto.
The story centers around Yuuto Ayase and his classmate Haruka Nogizaka. While Yuuto is rather ordinary, Haruka is very attractive, intelligent and rich. Due to this, she is the school’s most unattainable girl and is so idolized that her classmates give her the French nicknames “Nuit Ćtoile” (The Silver Star of the Night) and “LumiĆØre du Clavier” (The Shining Princess on the Piano). One day, when Yuuto goes to the school library to return a book, he stumbles across Haruka and her darkest secretāshe is a diehard fan of anime, manga and the otaku culture. Yuuto promises to keep her secret hidden and the two become close friends. Yuuto does his best to help Haruka with her secret hobby while developing his relationship with her.

After a school trip goes terribly wrong, Homare Onishima, Shion Kujou, Asuka Suzumori, and Mutsu Amatani are left stranded on a deserted island. While Shion, Asuka, and Mutsu are frightened and desperate, Homare seems strangely calm. Fortunately for the group, this isn’t the first time she’s been stranded! Homare spent her childhood training with her survivalist father all over the world, climbing cliffs, trapping prey, building shelters, and obtaining valuable nutrition from moose testicles. To Homare, surviving on an uninhabited island with a slim chance of rescue is child’s play. The only problem is the other three.
As Homare shamelessly guides her classmates through the finer points of survival, including drinking fish blood and eating cicadas, the girls start to realize that being stranded might not be as bad as they had imagined.

Fanservice Report: New Game Onsen OVA
Bridging the gap between the first season of New Game ( checkout my fanservice report of that one here) and the second was an OVA episode in late 2017. The team go on a skiing trip together which, more importantly also includes staying at an onsen resort!
Thanks to the great characters and pristine art quality of this series, it’s one of the more memorable onsen episodes of recent years! It features most of the cast, so it’s a great opportunity to see all the girls naked which is not wasted! They’re careful not to show nipples but there’s no annoying steam clouds or beams of light to get in the way of the naked festivities.

Eventually it’s down to just Aoba and Hifumi who get some quality time together! Two wonderfully sexy women right here!
